Job summary

Raines Co. is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure clean linens are supplied to the entire hotel. Since 1988, the company maintains a family-oriented culture and a strong emphasis on relationships with associates, partners, and communities.

The role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety in the laundry area, assisting room attendants, and supporting operations with supplies and routine duties.

Qualifications

• Experience housekeeping, janitorial, or similar in a hotel or commercial environment.
• Experience cleaning in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and responding to requests.
• Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe laundry area.
• Assist room attendants as needed, strip rooms, bring supplies, take out garbage.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Vacuum carpets.
• Dust and polish furniture.
• Empty trash containers.
• Report technical issues and maintenance needs.
• Restock chemicals and supplies.
• Follow health and safety rules.
• Attend meetings as required.

Essential Job Functions

• Greeting guests and responding to requests
• Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment in laundry area
• Assisting room attendants as needed, stripping rooms, bringing supplies, taking out garbage
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Vacuuming carpets
• Dusting and polishing furniture
• Emptying trash containers
• Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs
• Restocking chemicals and/or supplies
• Follow all health and safety rules
• Attends meetings as required

Experience And Education

• Experience housekeeping, janitorial, or similar in a hotel or commercial environment
• Experience cleaning in a customer focused environment
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Requirements

• Pre-employment background check required.
