Job summary

University Retirement Community is seeking a Laundry Attendant to clean and maintain resident apartments and common areas. You’ll perform laundry duties, ironing and related housekeeping tasks, ensuring a comfortable living environment for residents.

This role emphasizes daily resident interaction and dependable service. Training is provided, with full-time benefits and a schedule from 9:00am to 5:30pm, Sunday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred.
• Ability to perform laundry, ironing and basic cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain community common areas and 200+ resident apartments.
• Perform routine and spontaneous laundry cleaning and ironing.
• Interact with residents daily to provide a caring living environment.

Overview

As a Laundry Attendant at University Retirement Community, you’ll provide routine and spontaneous cleaning services for community common areas and our 200+ resident apartments. You’ll also provide routine and spontaneous laundry cleaning and ironing services for our community. You’ll get the chance to interact with our residents on a daily basis and ultimately feel like you’re making an impact on someone’s life every day!

Although some knowledge and experience in housekeeping and/or custodial services is preferred, we provide the training you’ll need!

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 / hr DOE

Work Schedule: 9:00am - 5:30pm; Sunday - Thursday
