Job summary

Tandem Hospitality Group is seeking a Laundry Attendant to clean and monitor hotel linens by washing, drying, and ironing, supporting all departments with laundry needs.

Responsibilities include inspecting items, operating laundry equipment, folding articles, maintaining records, and delivering linen to storage areas while upholding safety and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand or walk for extended periods, with repetitive motion.

Responsibilities

• Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
• Inspect cleanliness of articles from washer/dryer/dry-cleaning and place in clean linen carts.
• Set dryer to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics.
• Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load.
• Fold cleaned articles into designated sizes, by hand or folding machine.
• Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
• Deliver folded linen to designated storage areas.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
• Comply with QA expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
• Follow all safety policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies; ensure clean uniform and professional appearance; protect company assets.
