Job summary

Bupa Leominster care home is seeking a part-time Laundry Assistant to help keep a clean, comfortable environment where our residents can thrive.

You will wash, dry, iron and repair clothing, maintain linen stocks for day-to-day use, and raise any issues to the Senior Housekeeper to ensure smooth operations. The role is Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8am–4pm in a friendly team that values care and attention to detail.

You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By

• Always maintaining high standards of laundry within our home.
• Keeping our resident’s looking and feeling great; you will be responsible for washing, drying, ironing and repairing items of clothing as needed.
• Maintaining linen stocks for day to day use around the home, you’ll raise any issues to the Senior Housekeeper as you go.

Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
