Job summary

Liberty Commons in Wilmington, NC is seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to support resident care by maintaining clean linens and personal clothing.

You will follow schedules, collaborate with Environmental Services, attend required meetings, and help ensure a respectful, safe, drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Read, know, and follow personnel, department, and Facility policies.
• Demonstrate neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Attend all Environmental Services Department meetings and inservices.
• Work every other weekend with rest days off during the week.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes linen closets and carts at appropriate times daily.
• Collects soiled personal laundry per schedule and transports to laundry area via covered hampers.
• Assures washing, drying, ironing, and folding of patient’s personal clothing.
• Assists with assuring laundry services with the Facility meet the needs of the residents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
