Job summary

Worlds of Fun in Missouri is seeking energetic Laundry Ambassadors to help keep the park running smoothly. You will assist with laundry operations for Entertainment costumes, Ambassador uniforms, and Worlds of Fun Village laundry while keeping the Entertainment Department clean and organized.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to stand for long periods, and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, load and unload industrial washing and dryer machines.
• Must be comfortable standing and walking throughout a shift.
• Must be comfortable pushing a laundry cart across the terrain of the park.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laundry operations for Entertainment costumes, Ambassador uniforms, and Worlds of Fun Village room laundry.
• Be able to work with laundry detergents, laundry chemicals, and change detergent containers as needed.
• Operate iron, steam iron, and commercial laundry equipment with training.
• Take care of laundering and organizing clean laundry for various departments.
• Interact personally with other Ambassadors and Entertainment Performers.
• Maintain a safe workplace throughout the department.

We’re looking for self-motivated and energetic Ambassadors to fill this important position at the park. Laundry Ambassadors also make sure the Worlds of Fun Village is supplied and ready to greet our guests.
