Job summary

RegalCare at Worcester is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our housekeeping team and help maintain a clean, comfortable environment for patients and residents. You will be part of a compassionate, collaborative staff that values attention to detail and timely service.

You will sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and clothing, operate laundry equipment, and deliver clean items promptly to various units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items, including linens, towels, and clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including sorting and storing laundry supplies.
• Monitor and control inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any discrepancies to management.
• Distribute clean laundry to patients and residents in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure that all areas of the facility are kept clean and tidy.
