RegalCare at Worcester is seeking a detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join the housekeeping team in Worcester. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and clothing, operate laundry equipment, and keep the area clean and organized while supporting timely delivery to patients and residents.

Entry is with training provided and a competitive part-time schedule. The role requires good communication and customer service, with emphasis on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items, including linens, towels, and clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including sorting and storing laundry supplies.
• Monitor and control inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any discrepancies to management.
• Distribute clean laundry to patients and residents in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure that all areas of the facility are kept clean and tidy.
