Job summary

Piedmont Post Acute in Piedmont, SC is seeking a friendly Laundry Aide to join our close-knit team. You will maintain a clean, sanitary environment by properly cleaning, organizing, and delivering linens and resident clothing.

The role offers part-time hours with pay ranging from $14–$15 per hour. Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred, and we value reliability, attention to detail, and compassionate care for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Compassionate and respectful toward residents.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold resident laundry and facility linens.
• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is always available.
• Deliver clean clothing and linens to resident rooms.
• Inspect linens and remove damaged or stained items from service.
• Label resident clothing as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Follow infection control and sanitation procedures.
• Safely operate laundry equipment and handle cleaning supplies.
• Monitor inventory and report supply needs.
• Report equipment issues to leadership promptly.
