Job summary

Citadel At Saint Benedict is seeking a Laundry Aide to join their team. The Laundry Aide provides a variety of laundry duties in an orderly, sanitary condition and in collecting and laundering linens, garments, and washables.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to read and speak English, and experience in an institutional setting is preferred. This is a full‑time, on‑site position in Niles, Illinois, with benefits including daily pay, health, dental and more.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to operate washer/dryer.

Responsibilities

• Sort linens and treat stains.
• Load laundry into washers and add cleaning agents.
• Dry and finish items as directed.
• Sort, fold, or hang dried items.
• Deliver laundry to residents' rooms as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform the manager.
• Maintain laundry equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
