Townsend Park Health & Rehab in Cartersville, GA is hiring a full-time Laundry Aide for the day shift. You will fold, sort, wash and dry patient clothes and linens, and keep laundry areas clean and organized to support high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Folds and sorts clothes.
• Hangs clothes on racks according to name and numbers.
• Ensures the patients’ clothes are ready to wear and repairs addressed.
• Washes and dries clothes and linens.
• Sweeps and mops laundry area.
• Empties washers and dryers as requested.
• Cleans and disinfects linen carts as requested.
• Stain removal.
• Supports image of the System through service and teamwork.
• Performs other duties as necessary to ensure success.
