Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in laundry, housekeeping, healthcare, or related areas is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linens and clothing by type, fabric, color and soil level.
• Collect and process facility linens and residents' personal clothing.
• Label clothing and maintain records of personal belongings.
• Assist in locating missing clothing and personal articles.
• Load machines, set wash cycles, and add detergents per procedure.
• Transfer items to dryers and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Distribute clean linens and clothing to designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary laundry area and follow infection control policies.
