Lincoln County Nursing & Rehab in Troy, Missouri is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our care team. You will perform general laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing residents’ clothing, while keeping work areas clean and organized to support a safe environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple laundry tasks in a busy facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general laundry tasks, such as washing, drying, and folding laundry.
• Wash, dry, fold, iron, and store all facility laundry.
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute all residents’ personal clothing.
• Keep work areas free of hazardous conditions, spills, baskets, supplies, equipment, etc.
• Discard waste and trash into proper containers and re-line receptacles with plastic liners.
• Assure that work assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc are properly stored during work periods, as well as before leaving the area for breaks, meals, and end of workday.
• Clean laundry equipment, carts, etc
