• Follow safe chemical handling and report hazards promptly.
• Complete tasks and logs on time.

• Collect and transport soiled laundry using designated containers and procedures.




• Sort linens and clothing according to fabric type, care instructions, and facility procedures.




• Operate commercial washers and dryers safely, using approved cycles and laundry products.




• Follow infection prevention practices, including separating clean and soiled laundry, performing hand hygiene, and wearing appropriate protective equipment.




• Fold, organize, store, and distribute clean linens promptly.




• Check resident clothing labels and return personal items to the correct resident.




• Handle residents’ belongings with care and report missing, damaged, or improperly labeled items.




• Maintain adequate linen supplies and report shortages.




• Keep the laundry room, equipment, carts, and storage areas clean and organized.




• Follow instructions for safe chemical handling and report equipment problems or hazards promptly




• Complete assigned tasks and required logs accurately and on time.




• Attend required training and assist with other related duties as assigned.
