Job summary

Azria Health Olathe is hiring a Laundry Aide to support our residents with clean linens and a safe, organized laundry area. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a focus on safety and quality service.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have reliable transportation. Training will be provided, and the position offers flexible hours to accommodate staff needs.

Qualifications

• Must be experienced at doing laundry with a keen eye for details and be aware of safety.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness & safety in designated areas.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Launder soiled linens; must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.
• Must be able to work as a team member and have a love for the residents.
• Solid work ethic, with quality customer service, and others in mind.
• Must be reliable & keep to schedule & must be willing to learn.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Report any unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor.
• Report directly to Housekeeping Supervisor with strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Laundry Aide Requirements:

Laundry Aide Experience:

• Have a proven record of making responsible decisions with the resident's best interest in mind at all times.
• Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
• A proven history of relating well with residents and their families.
• Used caution in performing duties and maintained safe working practices.
• Proficient with cleaning supplies and/or chemicals and their uses.
• Knowledge of professional cleaning equipment, supplies, and common house cleaning devices such as commercial washers and driers.
• Must be clean, tidy, and appropriately dressed.
• Able to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and family members.
