Job summary

The Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing of Normal is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide for the evening shift. You’ll perform daily laundry tasks, maintain a clean and sanitary facility, and ensure a steady linen supply to meet residents’ needs.

Job Summary – Laundry Aide

Performs the day-to-day activities of the laundry area in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and/or Plant Operations Manager, to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, and that an adequate supply of linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents.

Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.

• Previous long-term care experience preferred.
