Yona Eagle is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team in Morrell Corners, NJ. You will perform a range of laundry duties and help maintain cleanliness and order in the laundry area while providing warm, friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning chemicals and their use.
• Ability to work independently.
• Demonstrates flexibility, integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport laundry containers of soiled and clean linen.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sort and load linens into washers and dryers; fold when dry.
• Maintain accurate linen inventory records.
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute customer clothing as needed.
• Maintain and clean laundry areas and equipment; follow safety procedures.
• Follow all company policies and procedures; report supply needs.
• Deliver laundry as specified and provide friendly service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Laundry experience is a plus
