Job summary

The Palace Renaissance & Royale, an assisted living community in Miami, FL, is seeking a Laundry Aide to maintain bed linens, towels and resident laundry at 11355 SW 84th Street, Miami, FL 33173. The role requires organizing the laundry area, following schedules, and ensuring items are clean and properly stored.

Ideal candidates have experience in healthcare settings, can read and write in English (Spanish preferred), and can operate industrial washers/dryers.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral instructions in English; Spanish preferred.
• Able to operate industrial size washer and dryer.

Responsibilities

• Wash all laundry and separate items as outlined in facility policies & procedures.

To maintain and distribute a clean supply of bed linens, towels and wash cloths for our residents as well as residents’ personal laundry which have to be maintained in a clean, non-wrinkled and spot free state.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Wash all laundry and separate items as outlined in facility policies & procedures.
• Keep laundry room and shelves clean and organized.
• Fold and put away towels, sheets, blankets, etc.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral instructions in English. Spanish preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must be able to operate industrial size washer and dryer.
