Fisher Senior Care & Rehab is hiring a Laundry Aide to collect, sort, wash, dry and redistribute linens across the facility. You will maintain cleanliness of resident and public areas and support offices to ensure a pleasant environment for guests and residents.

The role includes 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays, overtime pay, and opportunities for wage growth and strong benefits.

Formación

• 2-3 years of experience in a long-term care, nursing home environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.

Responsabilidades

• Collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washing machines, and folding clean linen.
• Deliver clean laundry to assigned units.
• Clean and sanitize the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident areas, public areas, and support offices for satisfaction.
• Attend to multiple areas of the facility and dispose of trash.
• Assist with collecting, washing, drying, folding and redistributing laundry/linens.

The Laundry Aide is responsible for collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washing machines, and folding clean linen. This position also counts the amount of linen processed each day, delivers clean laundry to assigned units, and cleans and sanitizes the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas. You will perform a variety of tasks to maintain a clean and pleasant environment for all of our guests and residents. You will ensure cleanliness in resident areas, public areas, and support offices ensuring satisfaction is a top priority.

• Starting Wage: $12.50 per hour
• PLUS Hero Pay ($0.85 per hour!)
