Avantara Libertyville, a premier skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Libertyville, IL, is hiring a Laundry Aide. You will maintain cleanliness and infection control of residents' linen and clothing, ensuring an adequate supply by sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering items.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; prior Laundry Aide experience in a skilled nursing setting is preferable, but training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but training may be provided.

Responsabilités

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control of residents' linen and clothing.
• Ensure an adequate supply of facility linen by sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering items.

As a Laundry Aide you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our residents’ linen and clothing. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Libertyville by ensuring an adequate supply of facility linen is available and by sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering resident clothing and facility linen. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
