Greenwood Center for Rehab and Nursing is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. The role involves following laundry procedures, handling soiled linen and distributing cleaned linen to residents’ rooms, and ensuring clothes are hung and stored properly.

Weekend and holiday availability is required. Candidate should have a High school diploma or GED and may have prior experience in a laundry or healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Follow laundry procedures.
• Handle soiled linen and transport to/from residents' rooms.
• Fold/hang resident linen and distribute to rooms; hang clothes in closets and drawers.

Responsibilities of Laundry Aide:

• Follows Laundry procedures
• Places soiled linen (facility or residents personal linen) in washing machine
• Folds or hangs resident personal linen, transports, and distributes resident personal linen to the resident's room. Hangs clothes in the closet and places clothes in drawers.
