Responsibilities include collecting soiled laundry, washing, drying, folding, distributing items, maintaining clean and organized laundry areas, and complying with safety policies and procedures. This role requires teamwork and professional communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and collect soiled laundry.
• Wash, dry, fold, hang, and distribute resident clothing.
• Collect, wash, dry, and redistribute bed linens and towels.
• Deliver clean laundry to residents and designated areas.
• Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Safely use facility equipment and laundry chemicals.
• Follow all facility policies and procedures, including the Environmental Care Manual and Disaster Manual.
• Follow all safety procedures when handling laundry chemicals and equipment.
• Protect resident rights, confidentiality, and privacy.
• Remain aware of and follow Resident Abuse Reporting requirements.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, families, coworkers, and facility staff.
• Report family or resident concerns to the Supervisor promptly.
• Adjust to changes in shift assignments or responsibilities based on facility needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

As a Laundry Aide, you will play an important role in ensuring our residents have clean clothing, linens, and towels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick up and collect soiled laundry

• Wash, dry, fold, hang, and distribute resident clothing

• Collect, wash, dry, and redistribute bed linens and towels

• Deliver clean laundry to residents and designated areas

• Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and safe

• Safely use facility equipment and laundry chemicals
