Job summary

Elevate Care Abington is seeking a Laundry Aide to keep resident clothing and linens clean and fresh, ensuring comfort and a welcoming environment. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute items while maintaining sanitary, orderly laundry spaces.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents’ clothing, bed linens, and towels.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and work areas, ensuring sanitation.
• Monitor and track supply of linens and clothing to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Handle delicate or special laundry items with care, following safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff to meet residents’ laundry needs and ensure timely service.

Your Responsibilities:

• Laundry Services – Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents’ clothing, bed linens, and towels.
• Maintain Cleanliness – Ensure laundry equipment and work areas are clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Inventory Control – Monitor and track the supply of linens and clothing to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Assist with Special Laundry Needs – Handle delicate or special laundry items with care, following all safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Work with Team Members – Collaborate with staff to meet residents’ laundry needs and ensure timely service.

Qualifications:

• Previous Experience in Laundry or Housekeeping (Preferred).
