Job summary

Glasgow Gardens in Glasgow, Missouri is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our team. This role performs general laundry tasks and ensures clothes and linens are clean, dry, and well organized. You will handle resident clothing, maintain clean work areas, and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general laundry tasks, such as washing, drying, and folding laundry.
• Wash, dry, fold, iron, and store all facility laundry.
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute all residents’ personal clothing.
• Keep work areas free of hazardous conditions, spills, baskets, supplies, equipment, etc.
• Discard waste and trash into proper containers and re-line receptacles with plastic liners.
• Assure that work assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc are properly stored during work periods, as well as before leaving the area for breaks, meals, and end of workday.
• Clean laundry equipment, carts, etc
