Fairmount Homes, Inc. in Ephrata, PA is seeking a Laundry Aide to support residents by ensuring clean clothing and linens, and a comfortable, dignified living environment.

The role is a 32-hour workweek with a day shift from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with every other Saturday and one Sunday per month. Located on a 70+ acre rural campus, Fairmount Homes is a five-star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community founded on Christ's love and Mennonite values.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Laundry experience is helpful but not required; training provided.
• Experience with commercial laundry equipment is a plus.
• Dependable work habits and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and handling soiled laundry according to infection prevention and safety procedures
• Sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and personal clothing according to established guidelines
• Following proper procedures for contaminated and isolation laundry
• Distributing clean laundry and linens to resident neighborhoods and designated areas
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of laundry equipment, work areas, and carts
• Helping protect and properly care for residents' personal belongings
• Supporting a clean, comfortable environment that enhances residents' quality of life

What You'll Do
