Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivers soiled linens to laundry, sorts, washes, dries, folds and returns clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms.
• Consult with patients to discuss supplementary laundering-related services that may be of use to them.
• Maintains presentation of the establishment by ensuring textiles are well cared for and maintained.

JOB DESCRIPTION

A dedicated worker who will support the functions of the nursing home establishment. The laundry attendant's responsibilities may include delivers soiled linens to laundry, sorts, washes, dries, folds and returns clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms. Consult with patients to discuss supplementary laundering-related services that may be of use to them. Ultimately, they play a crucial role in the presentation of the establishment by ensuring all textiles are well cared for and maintained.
