Job summary

Cedar Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to support daily laundry operations in our facility. Available Hours: 2pm-10pm with weekend requirements.

You will collect and sort soiled linen, load and unload washing machines and dryers, help keep the laundry area clean and sanitized, deliver clothing to residents, and report supply needs to management. Strong communication with coworkers, residents, and management is essential, and ongoing training and attendance at

• Collecting and sorting soiled linen
• Loading and unloading washing machines
• Loading and unloading dryers
• Folding and hanging personal clothing items
• Storing and delivering personal clothing to residents
• Communicating clearly with coworkers, facility, administration, and Lucent management
• Notifying director of laundry operations when supplies run low
• Performing daily inspections of the laundry facility and reporting damage or defective equipment
• Keeping the laundry areas clean and sanitized
• Attending employee meetings and mandatory in-service training
• Performing duties to the standard set by facility and Lucent upper management
• Working with minimal supervision on a daily basis

• keep the facility's laundry areas clean and sanitized
• attend employee meetings and mandatory in-service training as required by the director of laundry operations
• perform duties and responsibilities to the standard set by the indicidual facility and Lucent upper management
• Work with minimal supervision on a daily basis
