The Views of Marion is seeking a dependable, compassionate Full-Time Laundry Aide to join our senior living community in Marion, Iowa. You will help maintain clean, comfortable, and dignified surroundings for residents through laundry duties and cooperative teamwork.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, labeling, and distributing laundry; following infection control and safety procedures; and supporting other departments as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform repetitive tasks.

• Previous laundry/housekeeping/healthcare/senior living experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and facility laundry.
• Label and handle resident clothing and personal items properly.
• Keep the laundry area organized and clean.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and related equipment safely.
• Monitor supplies and notify supervision when replenishment is needed.
• Return clothing and linens to the correct resident or location.
• Handle residents' belongings with care and confidentiality.
• Work cooperatively with nursing, housekeeping, and other departments.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with residents, families, and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Views of Marion is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Full-Time Laundry Aide to join our senior living community. Our laundry team plays an important role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for our residents.

Position: Full-Time Laundry Aide

Schedule: Full-Time
Location: The Views of Marion
Department: Environmental Services

Position Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and facility laundry.
• Properly handle and label resident clothing and personal items.
• Maintain an organized and clean laundry area.
• Follow proper laundry procedures and infection control practices.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely.
• Monitor laundry supplies and notify the appropriate supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the laundry area.
• Ensure resident clothing and linens are returned to the appropriate resident or location.
• Handle residents' personal belongings with care, respect, and confidentiality.
• Follow all facility policies and procedures.
• Work cooperatively with nursing, housekeeping, and other departments.
• Provide friendly and respectful interactions with residents, families, and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
