• Report any equipment issues to the manager.

Looking for a dependable weekend job with a steady schedule and a supportive team? SonWray Garment Care, a community‑focused laundromat in Northeast DC, is hiring a Part‑Time Laundromat Attendant to help us maintain a clean, friendly, and efficient environment for our customers. We have opportunities available at both locations.

Shift Schedule

• Trinidad (NE) – Saturdays and Sundays, 1:30PM – 8:00PM (required). Additional shifts as needed: Monday through Friday, 6:45AM – 1:30PM; Monday through Friday, 1:30PM – 8:00PM; Saturdays and Sundays, 6:45AM – 1:30PM; Saturdays and Sundays, 1:30PM – 8:00PM.
• Mt. Pleasant (NW) – Sundays and Mondays, 12:30PM – 8:30PM (required). Additional shifts as needed: Daily opening shift, 4:30AM – 12:30PM; daily closing, 12:30PM – 8:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Open the laundromat promptly at 7:00AM (NE) or 5:00AM (NW).
• Greeting customers and assisting with self‑service or wash‑and‑fold orders.
• Monitoring machines and responding to customer questions.
• Keeping the space clean and orderly (wiping machines, sweeping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Folding laundry for drop‑off orders as needed.
• Reporting any equipment issues to the manager.
