Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. in California is seeking a Systems Engineer I to work with peer engineers on complex ISR signal processing problems and to contribute to the development and application of advanced methods in systems engineering and signal processing.

This entry-level role requires a U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a DoD clearance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Travel up to 10% may be required; a Master’s degree is preferred for some roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• Experience: 0–2 years in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop understanding of wireless protocols and systems (e.g. AM/FM, DMR, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, LoRa, Zigbee).
• Design and prototype software defined radio solutions for signal processing problems.
• Model and simulate wireless signals and RF propagation effects.
• Work with software teams to develop, integrate, and test SDR systems.
• Perform testing and validation of ISR systems in labs and test ranges.
