Job summary

Tennessee Valley Authority is offering a Summer 2027 Engineering Internship/Co-Op to work with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Nuclear teams at TVA sites in Chattanooga, Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis and other locations.

Interns will assist with design calculations, installation, operation, maintenance and inspections of power generating equipment, and will gain exposure to TVA programs and safety requirements. Enrolled students with 30 hours completed are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Majors in Engineering disciplines, Data Analytics, Business-related disciplines, Computer Science/IT, or other related degrees.
• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university program at the time of internship.
• Must have 30 semester hours completed.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with the TVA business, organization, and processes while learning key decision-making and procedures.
• Interact with leaders and team members to understand the unit's strategic direction and core functions.
• Apply internal policies and procedures and communicate them to peers and new employees.
