Job summary

Trilon is seeking entry-level Civil Engineers to join our Community Infrastructure team in Detroit and other locations. Roles span civil, municipal, transportation engineering and project controls, with on-site and hybrid options.

0–4 years' experience welcomed; prepare drawings, perform inspections, and support project delivery under mentorship. We offer a six-month Blueprint leadership program, licensed engineer mentorship, and professional development resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field as listed in the posting.
• 0–4 years of relevant engineering experience welcome for entry roles.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and design/analysis software is expected.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Support project development from concept through completion.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Assist in field inspections, surveying, and site investigations.
• Work with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS tools.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, clients and contractors.
• Participate in planning studies, feasibility analyses, and permit applications.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation (for Project Controls roles).
