Qualifications

• Education equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade and WA Academy graduation.
• Must obtain and maintain Washington State Peace Officer Certification.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Patrols designated areas of the City to preserve law and order and enforce laws.
• Responds to calls and complaints, conducts investigations, and makes arrests as needed.
• Gathers evidence, interviews witnesses, and testifies in court.
• Coordinates with other agencies and participates in community policing.
