Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking Home Health Aide Trainees to work in Indiana and other states, with placement into the Care Academy training program that leads to Home Health Aide Certification.

During training, you will attend in-person sessions, complete assignments, and be evaluated for certification readiness. After certification, you’ll advance to a Home Health Aide role with a commensurate pay rate and assigned patient cases.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable MVR when transporting patients.

Responsibilities

• Join Care Academy training, attend sessions, complete assignments and certifications.
• Communicate effectively with branch leaders, staff and Care Academy staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, family and staff information.
• Provide high level customer service and willingness to learn.
• Post-certification, transition to HHA with corresponding pay and patient cases.
