Job summary

Heartland ABA is seeking passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children with Autism in their homes or community settings in Des Moines, IA. This position is part-time and offers paid training to get you started, with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based ABA therapy.

You will join a dedicated clinical team, recording session data and supporting families to achieve individualized goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and make a difference for children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• RBT certification is required before working

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions to support independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of the clinical team, implementing skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
