Job summary

Zipline, a leader in autonomous drone logistics, seeks a Launch & Scale Intern to help plan and learn from site launches in South San Francisco. You will work with Launch Managers and cross-functional teams to turn field lessons into repeatable tools.

This full-time on-site internship offers coaching from leadership, a scoped project from problem definition to pilot, and opportunities to build dashboards, playbooks, or lightweight automations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a related bachelor's or graduate degree.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., SQL, Python).

Responsibilities

• Support launch plans by organizing milestones, dependencies, owners, risks, and decisions.
• Analyze launch and site data to identify bottlenecks and improvements.
• Prepare materials for readiness reviews and operating forums.
• Collaborate with Launch Managers to follow up on commitments and surface blockers.
• Build or improve dashboards, playbooks, templates, checklists, or lightweight automations.
• Join on-site launch activities and translate observations into process improvements.
• Own a scoped internship project from problem definition through pilot and handoff.
