Job summary

SpaceX in Cape Canaveral, FL seeks a Data & Control Systems Engineer (Starship Launch Pad) to design and integrate control hardware, data acquisition, and instrumentation for launch infrastructure. You’ll transfer real-time sensor data to pad operators and engineers, maintain hardware under tight safety standards, and support tests and launches with rigorous analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in physics or engineering as listed.
  • At least 6 months of data acquisition systems experience (internship/project qualifies).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build controls infrastructure for ground support equipment.
  • Maintain control voltage electrical systems (<60V) in operation.
  • Develop and upgrade data acquisition and control systems.
  • Create new automation systems to support launch/test needs.
  • Provide technical support for controls technicians and other groups.
  • Develop hardware/processes to improve capabilities and reduce cost.
  • Analyze data to assess function and health of electrical systems.
  • Assist in design/analysis of experiments to evaluate test articles.
