Job summary

Relativity Space in Cape Canaveral, Florida, is seeking a Level I engineer for the Launch team to support manufacturing and integration activities for launch site hardware and systems. You will collaborate with fluids, civil, electrical, and mechanical teams and help ensure hardware is built to engineering requirements.

This role offers hands-on fabrication and testing experience, opportunities to work with vendors, and growth in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline with practical experience.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or structural builds.
• Familiarity with CAD software and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support fabrication and integration activities for structural hardware, tooling, ground support equipment, and related launch site systems.
• Review drawings, CAD models, work instructions, and specs to support fabrication and identify issues.
• Coordinate with engineering, technicians, fabrication teams, and vendors for hardware builds and testing.
• Apply fabrication and field techniques including drilling, machining, metrology, lifting and rigging.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, evaluate solutions, and implement changes.
• Document activities and communicate progress to cross-functional teams.
