Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of hands-on build or design experience (internships, clubs, and competition teams qualify).
• Experience with high-pressure and cryogenic fluid systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and build systems that support critical rocket launches and testing.
• Cradle-to-grave project ownership through design reviews, procurement, and construction coordination.
• Design modular hardware for volume manufacturing at future launch sites.
• Apply interdisciplinary engineering skills in system-level design, detailed fluid/thermal analysis, structural considerations, and cost/schedule optimization.
• Work with technicians to realize designs and fix real-world issues on the fly.
• Maintain a tight feedback loop with launch operations to meet deadlines.
• Activate and troubleshoot equipment to meet design objectives and reduce downtimes.
• Evaluate complex problems and arrive at practical solutions supporting the program.
