The Estée Lauder Companies offers a Lauder R&D and Packaging Internship designed for high-potential undergraduates. Interns will own high-priority projects, collaborate across teams, and gain exposure to senior management through planned events and mentoring by seasoned leaders.

Selected candidates will work closely with R&D and packaging teams, leveraging state-of-the-art tools, and will network with leaders across the organization to contribute to meaningful business goals.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate junior expected to graduate May/June 2028.
• Majors include Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Package Engineering, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Polymer Science, Materials Science.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

DescriptionThe Lauder Research & Development and Packaging Intern roles blend an extensive overview of the cosmetic industry with real world experience. Interns will have the opportunity to collaborate on projects that will support the team in reaching established goals and objectives directly relating to the success of the business.Selected candidates can expect:Ownership of high priority projects instrumental to the R&D function and business, working in collaboration with multiple teams and functions within the organization.State of the art research, equipment and skills trainingNetworking opportunities through various planned events and activities to provide exposure to other facets of the company including senior management.Opportunities to share their learnings, ideas & insights directly with today’s leaders of the organizationMentoring by seasoned R&D leadersPartnerships with other departments within the company to gain a greater understanding of R&D’s role in the businessThe anticipated hourly range for this position is $25.00 to $33.00.
