Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking a remote Latvian language trainer to help train and refine Grok's voice and language capabilities. Your work will shape how Grok speaks and understands Latvian, including pronunciation, phrasing, and cultural nuance.

As part of the team you will annotate multilingual audio clips, translate UI copy and prompts into Latvian, and collaborate with engineers to improve annotation tools, accents handling, and data quality.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Latvian at CEFR C1 level or higher.
• English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Annotate, label, and provide feedback on multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, and speech samples using proprietary tools.
• Translate and localize text (UI copy, prompts, responses, and other content) from English into Latvian, with attention to accuracy, natural phrasing, and cultural fit.
• Help produce clear, natural audio data that accurately captures linguistic and prosodic details such as intonation, rhythm, and accent.
• Collaborate with technical staff to refine annotation guidelines and tools for handling accents, background noise, speech variation, and multilingual audio.
