Job summary

J.P. Morgan seeks a Senior Client Service Associate in the Latin America Private Bank in Houston to nurture client relationships. You’ll be the primary service contact, coordinating with advisors, product partners and operations to deliver a seamless Private Banking experience.

You will execute client requests and transactions, uphold controls and FINRA regulations, collaborate with teams, and spot opportunities to expand client relationships with additional products and digital platforms.

Qualifications

• FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required; unlicensed candidates may obtain within 90 days of start
• Proven ability to operate in a matrix organization under tight deadlines
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken)

Job description

As a Senior Client Service Associate within the Latin America Private Bank at J.P. Morgan you will be responsible for maintaining, deepening and enriching client relationships. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all service related needs of a Private Banking client. This will entail working in a complex team-oriented and fast paced environment with advisors, product partners and operations teams to deliver a seamless and integrated approach across all Private Banking products.

Job responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service and flawless execution on client requests, inquiries and transactions such as money movement, security transfers, and loan transactions including escalated research requests
• Adhere to and maintain the firm’s controls policies and procedures and FINRA regulations as well as protecting client assets against potential fraud activities
• Collaborate with respective client facing teams and internal business groups to deliver and execute client transactions
• Review and identify potential business opportunities for clients to engage in additional products, services, and digital platform

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• FINRA Securities Industry Essentials, Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required for the position; unlicensed candidates considered, but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to fluently communicate (written and verbal) in Portuguese
