Qualifications

• Lateral police officer entry requires current law enforcement certification and commissioning.
• Experience in patrol, response to incidents and public safety preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and protect life and property.
• Respond to emergency calls and incidents to preserve public safety.
• Provide information and assist the public, take reports, and support investigations.
• Observe and control traffic and enforce laws and ordinances.
