Job summary

The City of Everett is accepting applications for the Lateral Firefighter (IFSAC FF-2) position with a monthly salary of 6,631.00 – 9,464.00 plus benefits. This open/continuous civil service examination offers career growth within the Everett Fire Department.

Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements, including two years of verifiable firefighter/EMT experience, current certifications (IFSAC/Pro Board FF-I/II and HazMat), EMT or NREMT, CPAT, and successful completion of a JATC program

Qualifications

• Two years verifiable work experience as a career firefighter/EMT.
• Current certification at IFSAC or Pro Board FF-I/II and HazMat Awareness & Ops.

Responsibilities

• Fire suppression, hazardous materials response, technical rescue, and firefighting duties.
• Respond to emergency medical calls and perform Basic Life Support (BLS).
