Qualifications

• Sixty (60) semester units (90 quarter units) of college or equivalent.

• Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification after appointment and for duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Patrols county areas in a radio-equipped patrol car to preserve law and order and to prevent and discover crimes.
• Responds to felony and misdemeanor calls and vehicular accidents.
• Conducts initial criminal investigations by interviewing witnesses, protecting crime scenes, and collecting evidence.
