Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking a statistical programmer for BARDS to support late-stage drug/vaccine development. You will lead programming for analyses, tables, listings and figures across trials and submissions, and design datasets for clinical development, outcomes research and safety evaluation.

You will collaborate with statisticians and project stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables, while guiding global outsource staff and maintaining project plans.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 5+ years SAS programming in a clinical trial environment.
• MS plus 3+ years SAS programming in a clinical trial environment.
• Effective interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
• Experience developing analysis/datasets for R&D projects and leading tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical programming for late-stage drug/vaccine projects and deliver analyses, tables, listings and figures.
• Design and maintain statistical datasets for multiple stakeholders.
• Coordinate global programming team including outsource staff.
• Serve as point of contact for assigned projects throughout the product lifecycle.
