Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is included in a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in a sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Prepare a variety of items, beverages, and more in a timely manner.
• Add garnishments to enhance customer appeal.
• Assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and uniform policy.
• Coordinate with the Manager daily to prepare the menu for the day.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and storage area.
• Scrub and sanitize counters and steam tables; perform ware washing.
• Follow procedures for cleanliness and safety; manage garbage areas.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
