Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Security Researcher to track Latam-language eCrime actors across diverse environments, providing insights for finished intelligence products used by customers. The role requires OPSEC-savvy problem solving and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal direction.

You will work on collecting timely information, leveraging OSINT tradecraft, and collaborating with teams to produce threat estimates.

Qualifications

• Language capabilities including, but not limited to, Spanish and Portuguese.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Experience in navigating a wide variety of cyber threat actor environments, to include social media, hidden services, and forums.
• Familiarity with a wide variety of eCrime groups generally.
• Practical knowledge of technical terminology, tools, and tactics employed by eCrime actors, particularly Latam-language actors.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collect unique, relevant information to answer requirements related to Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Leverage OSINT tradecraft to follow up on leads and identify eCrime threat actors across online communities.
• Identify current and emerging cyber threats and trends pertaining to Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Collaborate with teams producing analytical reports and threat estimates related to Latam actors.
• Employ secure operational tradecraft methods and practices.
