Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a self-starting Security Researcher to join the Counter Adversary Operations Team. The role focuses on Latam-language eCrime actors, collecting and analyzing information from the deep and dark web to provide unique insights for CrowdStrike customers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have Spanish and Portuguese language skills, experience with OSINT investigations, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines while collaborating with

Qualifications

• Language capabilities including Spanish and Portuguese.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Experience navigating a wide variety of cyber threat actor environments, including social media, hidden services, and forums.
• Familiarity with a wide variety of eCrime groups generally.
• Practical knowledge of technical terminology, tools, and tactics used by Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and drive business outcomes.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and identify creative solutions to difficult problems; tenacity is key.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also be self-motivated to collect independently and proactively.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal guidance.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect unique, relevant, actionable, and timely information to answer established standing and ad hoc requirements related to eCrime actors, especially Latam-language actors.
• Leverage OSINT tradecraft to follow up on leads and identify eCrime threat actors across online communities.
• Identify current and emerging cyber threats and trends pertaining to Latam-language eCrime actors with technical context.
• Collaborate with teams producing analytical reports and threat estimates on eCrime topics, especially Latam language actors.
• Employ secure virtual operational tradecraft methods and practices.
