Job summary

Arete Associates in Niwot, CO is seeking a Laser Testing Technician to calibrate and test AIRTRAC lasers, align beams, and set up testing benches. You will work with scientists, engineers, and technicians to build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify optical and electronic systems, performing precise optical measurements.

Qualifications

• AA/AS in a technical or engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred, or significant relevant experience may substitute for educational requirement.
• Ability to produce professional documentation and thoroughly document setups and test results.
• Good communication skills.
• Detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and test AIRTRAC lasers.
• Align lasers and set up testing benches.
• Build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and production optical/electronic systems.
• Conduct optical measurements to support laser alignment, laser fabrication, and laser performance measurements.
• Document setups and test results clearly.
